RV Investigator is Australia’s blue-water science vessel, it delivers cutting edge atmospheric, oceanographic, biological and geoscience research from the tropical north to the Antarctic ice-edge.

I’ve been on two voyages onboard Investigator, one to survey oceanic seamounts in 2018 and a volcanology expedition to Hunga Tonga-Hunga Ha'apai in the kingdom of Tonga in 2025 with a brief to document life onboard, research activities the environment around the ship and support media outreach and comms.
